8 days into May and here is my April wrap up ! The books I read this month have been from different genres, making it a month of diverse reading . Here is a quick run through on all of them . 1. Anne of Green Gables- Reread this book and loved it all the more , if there is one book I'd recommend to anyone- it's gotta be this! 2. The Secret Adversary- read this with @maidensofmurder and enjoyed it ! Surely one of the best work by the legend. 3. Whiskey , words and a shovel - my poetry fix for the month , this book by @r.h.sin is a beautiful work of fiction , reminding women to love, heal and grow. 4. The beautiful dead - with a crazy murderer obsessed with the TV reporter , this one made for an interesting read. Fast , gory and sinister , it was surely engaging . 5. 🥃WHISKEY WORDS AND A SHOVEL by R.H SIN ( @r.h.sin )🥃 I finished this poetry book in April and quite enjoyed it . This compilation of poems by RH Sin is beautiful ❤ Having read his work on social media , I was quite delighted to get my hands on this book that enunciates on self love, growth and healing. It talks about women - women who are hurt , women who give too much and women who brave it all... It is a wonderful reminder that we deserve the best, and an encouragement for anyone waging their battles. Men who write like this surely revive hope in times when love is a mere word thrown around to suit their conveniences.
