Claire exited the back of her store and came around, making a wide circle, until she came up on the big black car from behind. One hand on the dagger beneath her coat, she bent over to look through the open passenger window. "Excuse me!" She knocked her knuckles against the glass.

He wound his window down and gave the woman a wide smile.

"Yes, Ma'am? How can I help you?"

When Rune said he could just fly over, he was being literal it seemed. His last little jump that sent him around the world had left his car in Claire's city, so there would have been no point in driving another there. His arrival was announced by her building giving a slight shake when he landed by it in his dragon form, quickly shifting down to human before she could see. Didn't want to scare her. After shifting back he walked into the bookstore if the door was unlocked as he smoothed out his suit's coat. "Claire? It's Rune."

Rune thinks of her as a firecracker. Sassy, quick witted, and attractive. He does keep his hopes up that the next time he gets bounced around, he ends up back in her town to make good on his offer of a date.
