he had never expected to venture back towards these parts after the hunting grounds he'd made of them back during his time with Stefan. searching out wolves to turn them into Hybrids - it'd been necessary then but this time he comes with a wholly different plan and reason. wolves were protective of their own kind and his little girl was at least a quarter that. they would take her in, they would defend her but, in turn, they would also have to take him in. there was no way he was going to leave her on her own. they could be safe here. why would anyone assume that a pack of stray and proud wolves would take in the abomination that had tainted an otherwise pure bloodline?
having made a ruckus upon arrival Klaus knows that they've gone to fetch their Alpha, fully human for the meantime thankfully. the full moon wasn't for sometime. perhaps he could offer them a reward that would be in their complete benefit. the sort of reward that had been wasted on the Crescents - for all the good that it did Klaus. this time he would wave it before these wolves without giving in to allowing them their hands on it. he has to remember these aren't his kin, at least he does not believe that they are.
hushing Hope where she rests in his arms he looks up when he hears the crunching of leaves ahead of him. his gaze falls on the Alpha and recognizes him immediately. tall, tough exterior, rough and entirely full of a respect that many men lacked. it was no wonder the area fell silent the moment he walked into the scene. to inspire that sort of respect and honor was something that was now out of Klaus' grasp, he's given up the search for it. he'll settle for mountainous amounts of power instead.
" I'm glad you didn't make me wait. I might have gotten hungry. " he grins as he glances around at the gathered group of tense wolves around them they're watching curiously, uncertainly. here he was, a Hybrid, standing there with his unnatural daughter. what thoughts could be running through their minds? his grin remains as his eyes flash gold to remind the wolves and their Alpha just who he is. he bows or answers to no one. especially not this lot. " I would have at least expected a better greeting or did no one teach you how to respect your elders? "
Hope fusses again and Klaus arranges her once more in his arms. just a small and frail thing. the world could not have her. " Eddard Stark, is it? " he greets, chin tipping upward some to maintain that level of dominance in the moment. " I'm sure you already know who I am. I can see I caught you unawares. perfect, just as I wanted. " he steps closer to the man, sizing him up slightly before meeting his eyes. " you're going to help me protect my daughter and in payment once this startling and bloody chapter of my family's story ends then I'll release you from whatever it is that hinders you from being the wolves you should have always been born to be. "

A Muslim was arrested yesterday for a bomb plot using a drone-like plane to crash into a Connecticut school (Yale, perhaps?) and a Federal building. For reasons that only the Obama administration can understand, El Mehdi Semlali Fahti does not face federal terrorism charges at this time. If bombing a school and a government building isn’t terror, then what is?
Fahti was still…
