HIII OFC! i always take the chance to talk about them (:

it mostly started as a joke between myself and a friend about how similar they looked, and how it would be funny to see them makeout.

after that, i kinda realized hey. they honestly have some interesting chemistry! especially from this panel (animal man vol 1 #22)

something about this interaction CAPTIVATED me. the way they have such utter polar opposite viewpoints during this period made me think, "how on EARTH would a ship between them actually work?"

so i got to thinking, and my thinking offered this; it probably wouldn't. they're highkey doomed in every scenario, and that's what makes it interesting. they seem the type to get together and divorce based on stupid shit lol. all in all, i mostly just wanted to formulate the most cracky crackship i could EVER think of for buddy, and booster was the perfect pairing. hopefully that answers your questions! lmk if you wanna hear more (:
