Helena Bertinelli puts Helena Wayne on her lease six months into their... whatever it is they're doing where Helena W just shows up, stays at her apartment for a few weeks, and then goes. It just seems like the most practical way to handle the situation. Helena B never knows when she's going to get back to her apartment and find Helena W seated at her kitchen table, greeting her with "we're out of milk" or "I brought chocolate cake." Hel B isn't sure if she'd call it love yet but her apartment feels empty when Hel W isn't around, and Hel W's name on the lease is a nice reminder that her absence never lasts and she can always come home to Hel B.
