Obit of the Day: Oh!-bituaries
Last week OOTD started a new feature, "Oh!-bituaries," which gives me a chance to feature a few extra individuals who I was not able to give an individual post. Take some time to read about these women and men:
Margaret K. Butler - Worked in computer programming for 46 years, beginning in 1945 (www.semiwiki.com)
Lucy Cohn - Her husband wrote her obituary. Not unusual except that he died 13 years ago. (Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel)
Booth Gardner - Governor of Washington state (1985-1993) who championed the state's "Death With Dignity" campaign. Assisted suicide was made legal in the state in 2008. (Seattle Times)
Pietro Mennea - Held the world record in the 200m sprint from 1979-1996 (L.A. Times)
Check out last week's Oh!-bituaries.
