"WITH TEETH" I got a chance to collaborate with Tony Moorman @t_moorfilms again - the same guy that directed the documentary "MAKING IT" making_it_pictures a few years back. For this project Tony hung out while I cranked away on painting the laptops. I wish more clients let us do video content like this! We had a ton of fun and managed to not strangle each other! Just don't ever ask Tony to get you lunch. DELL is going to give away 3 of the systems to SDCC attendees who post a photo at the DELL booth #241! Or you can pick it up at BOOTH 4604 this weekend at #SanDiegoComicCon So stoked to have gotten a chance to design another poster for @clutchofficial . The last time was waaaay back in 2001. Oy...I'm old! Big thanks to #Clutch and #Hellfest @hellfestopenair for commissioning me to design their poster for the event. If you look closely at the background you can see that every piece of the collage is a reference to one of their songs. I grew up on this band and the self-titled album along with #ElephantRiders are classics to me and on heavy rotation in my studio. I only have a few copies of the edition. The folks at HELLFEST sent me a handful to sell off my site. Their part of the edition SOLD OUT at the show! Or you can pick it up at BOOTH 4604 this weekend at #SanDiegoComicCon The fine folks in @dirtyheads commissioned me to design a poster for their Chula Vista show last week! I'm pretty stoked on this because they wanted something more cartoony and less dark/evil which I tend to do a bit. So this was fun because I got to use a different part of my brain and have fun with color and halftones! And lots and lots of tentacles. They wanted me to include their mascot so I had the lady popping the lid off his head and eating his brains/influences. So many colors!!!
