🍃🌊☀️🌲 Yesterday’s personal highlight was redefining “Letting myself go.” The old me would never, absolutely NEVER, take my clothes off in a place where other people could see me and then proceed to get into unfiltered, untreated, OnlyMotherEarthKnowsWTFisInHere-water and do it all with a smile and zero cares. Might not be a big deal for most but this was 100% growth for me. I am the master of catastrophic thoughts and I did not let them win. I won and lived life, unprepared and spontaneously with my family yesterday. I scraped my leg on some underwater rocks and the whole time I was imagining bacteria crawling into the broken skin and swimming into my blood stream and definitely rubbed hand sanitizer all over my scrapes after buuuttt I stayed within the moment. I even walked barefoot while drying off. Possible TW- sui**de.. Im reflecting on the day and cried looking at the pictures and videos of all the natural beauty and seeing my babies having fun..I fully broke down in guilt that I ever considered “removing” myself from their lives at one point because I wasn’t well and didn’t want to be a burden anymore. I would’ve missed all of this beauty. 😌 I feel super fortunate to be here to experience all this, even the scrapes..to continue to discover what life has to offer, spending it with all the right people and seeing my kids smile 😭😭 life is so magical right now!!!! More pics and video in my stories! 🚨 And while I have your attention- I urge everyone who enjoys the outdoors to PLEASE PLEASE clean up after yourselves!!! If you can carry pizza boxes, cases of beer, water bottles and chips down into the wilderness you can carry it BACK OUT to the TRASH. We need to do better. Please!!!! 😪💔 #gettingthroughit #naturelovers #summer2019 #bootytootin #enjoythejourney (at Angeles National Forest) https://www.instagram.com/p/By5zIsdHyij/?igshid=1gdqnsprtrmah
