you haven't been feeling the best lately. you would wake up hardly being able to breathe due to your nostrils being congested, every cough hurt your throat to the point of tears, and the endless amount of grossed out looks thrown your way by your girlfriend was unexplainable.
it was another day of being sick, you woke up at 4am due to coughing your lungs out. sua, who was asleep next to you, shot up out of bed as soon as she heard your coughing fit, quickly scrambling to turn the lamp on while grabbing a bottle of water that was on the nightstand next to her. she quickly untwisted the cap and helped you drink, rubbing circles on your back to soothe you.
you thanked her weakly before laying back down and taking a deep breath in and out. sua looked at you as you slowly closed your eyes, her eyebrows turning upwards in a worried expression. sua brushed a strand of hair behind your ear before putting the water bottle back on the nightstand and turning the lamp off, settling back into bed as well.
morning came and sua opened her eyes to not see you next to her which worried her. she wanted to make sure you were alright especially after your coughing fit from a bit earlier. sua shot out of bed once again and began searching your shared apartment only to find you making breakfast while holding a tissue in one hand. sua let out a breath she didn’t realize she was holding while slowly making her way over to you, wrapping her arms around your waist once she was behind you.
“what are you doing out of bed? you’re sick.” she said in her morning voice, kissing your exposed shoulder as she watched you flip a pancake.
“i wanted to make breakfast for you for once.” you chuckled quietly, a cough following your chuckle which thankfully, you managed to cough into the tissue that was in your hand before it could contaminate anything. sua reached around and turned off the stove, guiding your hand to place the spatula down before turning you around and holding you by your shoulders.
“you need to rest, let me take care of you.” she said with a small grin on her face. you shook your head, attempting to turn back around and finish the pancakes, but your actions were shut down. sua pulled you away from the stove completely, grabbing your hand and leading you to the bedroom where she gently pushed you on the bed.
“get comfortable and you better be drowsy by the time i get back.” sua scolded, pointing a finger at you before leaving the room and closing the door behind her. you huffed, staring at the ceiling before touching your forehead. you didn’t think you were that sick, but when you touched your forehead, you quickly pulled your hand back since your forehead felt like you had just touched a metal pole that had been sitting out in the sun.
you started to get comfortable, wiggling under the covers before pulling them over half your face. you sighed as you looked towards the door, wondering when your girlfriend would be back, but that thought was quickly dismissed when your eyes started to feel heavy and a yawn left your mouth. you attempted to keep your eyes from shutting, but sleep quickly won. sua was just in the kitchen, making some soup that she knew you’d like, just something that would be light for your stomach yet good for your throat. while the soup was boiling on the stove, she cleaned up the kitchen from your breakfast attempt while also searching the cabinets for medicine. when she couldn’t find any, she shook her head, mentally scolding herself and you for not being more prepared by having medicine in the cabinets. sua turned the stove off before making her way to the front door, slipping her shoes on and grabbing her purse before leaving to buy medicine. upon returning, she quietly made her way to the shared bedroom, medicine in hand. she hoped you’d be asleep, but with how slightly stubborn you were earlier, she had a doubt.
sua quietly opened the door, peeping into the room to see you asleep. as she continued to quietly walk into the room, she could hear your light snores with an occasional gentle cough. sua set the medicine down on the nightstand, her eyes never once leaving you. she brushed a strand of hair away from your face which caused you to stir for a second, but you fell back asleep, snuggling into the covers and pillow. sua bent down, kissing your exposed forehead before leaving the room and going back into the kitchen where she poured some soup into a bowl. afterwards, sua made her way back into the room, setting the bowl down on the nightstand next to the medicine before lightly shaking your shoulder.
“hey, i made some soup and got you some medicine.” sua said in a voice that was calming and soft. you mumbled, your eyes slowly opening before adjusting to your surroundings. you smiled at your girlfriend who mirrored the same smile. helping you sit up, she grabbed the bowl and insisted on feeding you.
“babe, i’m sick, my arms aren’t broken…” you playfully rolled your eyes.
“but what if you spill it because…because!” she struggled to find a reason which caused you to chuckle. you shook your head, opening your mouth so she could feed you. her eyes lit up as she fed you a spoonful of soup.
at least you knew that any time you get sick, you’ll be in good hands.
poly relationship ask follow up: i know you've already done a handong series but dongie's my fave currently so i was wondering if you'd be down to do a really fluffy poly relationship headcannon with reader (gender neutral), handong, and gahyeon?
and if it's not too much, would you be willing to do the same kind of headcannon but with sua instead gahyeon, too?
it's okay if you can only do one though or if you aren't up for either, i have other ideas in mind for dreamcatcher headcannons and reactions, too. i'd be grateful to get any dreamcatcher content right now lol
sorry if this ask was a bit much. not many writers have requests open, write for dreamcatcher, write something other than smut, or have really good quality work anymore so you're one of the few writers left on this site who's work i really enjoy and i like you as a blogger/person too ^_^
Hello anonnie and thank you for the ask! I’m sorry it took so long and i’m sorry if you’ve forgotten about it. I had a lot on my plate but finally enough time to get it done. If you see this I really hope you like it. My requests for reactions remain open, they sometimes just take a long time because of life and commitments, im sorry about that
Handong & Gahyeon
This dynamic is so fun
Both of them are so cute with you
But lowkey tsun with each other
Gahyeon likes to tease you a lot
If you get mushy with her or say cute thighs
She’ll tease you for being so soft
But she secretly loves it and it makes her heart skip a beat
Meanwhile Handong will be mushy with you
In front of other people she’s a little more quiet
But when it's just you and her she’ll quietly tell you all the things she loves about you while she rests her head on your shoulder
When it’s the three of you Handong still likes to get mushy
She likes to say sweet things that make you a little flustered
And likes when you do it back
And Gahyeon will tease the two of you about it
But the she keeps looking over and pouting until you call her over
And you get her to settle between the two of you while you cuddle with the and tell her how precious she is and how much you love her
They both like cute dates
Cafes and pretty restaurants where you sit and talk for hours
Walks through the park, especially once the leaves start to change
Also doing cute photoshoots with each other any time you find a pretty location or get to the perfect spot when the sun is setting
When you’re upset Gahyeon likes to comfort you
She’ll give you lots of hugs and ask what kinds of snacks you want
And she’ll put one of your favourite comfort movies and focus on making the evening comfy or you
And when Handong comes in she’ll ask what happened
They’ll both listen to you as you tell them all of your stresses
And Handong will always find something helpful to say while she squeezes your hands and kisses your forehead
Nighttime will see you cuddled between the two of them while they mumble good nights and remind that they love you so so much
Handong & Sua
Like above Handong is super sweet with you
She likes to be quietly sappy with you
When people are around she’s quiet about it, quick squeezes of your hand and glances at you
Bora brings so much excitable energy to the dynamic
She likes to burst in on the two of you being sappy
Any time she does it she either teases you both for being in love
Nevermind the fact that she’s head over heels for you both
Or she jumps on top of both of you to join in with the affection
She always makes the two of you giggle and laugh as you try and catch her to keep her from falling right off the couch
They plan different kinds of dates
Handong likes pretty picnics in the park
Bora will look for fun or energetic activities
When they plan together you end up going hiking
It’s tiring but the view is worth it and they pick trails that all of you can manage
When you’re all having a lazy day you’ll pile onto the couch together
And pick a fun movie to watch while you eat snacks
Bora will bring out your excitable side
Likes to get you up and jumping around
And Handong is dramatic about it as she rolls her eyes or looks at you both with so much faux judgment
When you have a bad day they both want to comfort you
They will listen to all your problems
Handong will restrain Bora from going out and beating up whoever upset you
Bora will hold you protectively and assure that everything will be okay
And Handong will give good advice to help you decide what to do if you’re in a difficult situation
They’ll end the night by holding you tight
Handong caressing your cheek while Bora squeezes you in her arms and they make sure you feel loved

➵ disclaimer
Late into a Thursday night, you find yourself in your most comfortable clothing suitable for dancing and any form of rehearsal, treading the heavily lit streets of Seoul, surrounded by people in their finest attire, with incredibly high heels clacking against the hard gravel floor and expensive watches reflecting off the street lights. Instead, you were in fitted slacks with a matching top, and shoes that felt practically weightless on your feet, with a gym bag hauled over your right shoulder, and your right hand gripped onto a green apple, which already had several bites taken out of it. Although, if you weren’t on your way to the Starship Entertainment building, you would be home underneath a blanket or two, already haven eaten your dinner and watching your favourite show. But it was almost eleven at night, and in a sense, you were doing a favour. For a ‘friend’.
You say friend, Bora was a friend you shamelessly flirted with in front of others, and those moments when no one was either looking or around, you were not afraid of wrapping your hands around her waist as you rested you chin on her shoulder, or whilst sat on the floor, you would pull her closer to you by her legs so that she would almost be sitting on your lap as she faced you. Bora would reciprocate the affection, sometimes even push you away to play that little game of acting too hard to get, just so that you’d work a little harder. But still you had to maintain a certain level of professionalism; yes, that barrier between the choreographer and the dancer had already been broken, and you had gone way beyond that with Bora, but it never left the rehearsal room. You didn’t even have any form of her contacts. Because of this, Bora had to make sure she would ask you to come in later that evening after spending the day with her and the rest of Sistar rehearsing, preferably after everyone in the office had left, so she could squeeze in a few more hours of rehearsal for the new comeback you had helped choreograph, but with you present.
Even if you had tried to deny Bora, you would have eventually given in, and so agreed to assist her as soon as she had asked. Much to her excitement, she squealed squeezing your hands, stating that she couldn’t wait until that night. Most of the time, you were the one to instigate any type of physical contact, and you were fine with it, but when it was Bora who decided to hold your hand, or hug you as a greeting, or even just unsuspectedly look in your direction with a smile, you couldn’t deny that your stomach, and heart, did tingle in the most painful way. In such a way because you knew that, after this was over, the rehearsing, the final touches, and once Sistar were finally promoting, that this would all be over. To play it safe, you had promised yourself not to mix pleasure with business, more to just save yourself from the future heartache, but from the second day you knew it would have been very difficult to keep away from such a beautiful woman.
The reception of the building was already vacant and the security guards you saw in the daylight were also there in this nightlight. As you had already many trips in and out of that same building, they had already imprinted your face in their memories, knowing your role for the company, and so had no issues with letting you further into the building. You also had a feeling that they were waiting for you to arrive; Bora had probably warned them that you were coming. You headed to the same floor you had been going to for the past month, located not too high up in the building, making your way through the hallways. Not being used to seeing the floor in almost complete darkness, you wondered whether you would struggle to find the studio. To your luck, the exact studio you needed to go to could be seen as its lights stood out in the dark. As you approached, music could be heard more clearly and louder. The song that was playing was the exact one that you had helped choreograph, and came to the conclusion that Bora was already there. And you were correct. Not wanting to disturb her, you slowly opened the door so it wouldn’t creek. But from the mirror, Bora could see you making your way in, but didn’t stop. She continued to dance until the section was complete, only taking a few seconds. In that time, you settled your bag in the corner of the room, close to her own bag. Quickly finishing the apple, you discarded the core into the bin, dusting your hands off any residue. As she came to a stop, you sat down on a lifted area that was next to the mirror, loosely crossing your legs.
Bora jogged to the speaker where her phone was, tapping the pause icon. ‘You really did come,’ she sounded surprised, staying next to the speaker.
‘You asked me to. So here I am,’ you said with a smile. ‘But I didn’t think you’d already be here.’
‘I’ve been here since eight,’ she explained.
You widened your eyes. ‘Have you even eaten yet?’
‘I can eat later,’ she dismissed your question.
‘No, no, come here,’ you got up and went to your bag, getting out a Tupperware. Bora walked slowly towards you. ‘Take anything out of here.’
She looked inside; a banana, another apple, a granola bar and something wrapped around aluminium foil.
‘That’s just a cheese and ham sandwich,’ you pointed to it, ‘and I have water in my bag too.’
‘Are you sure?’ she looked up to you.
‘You have to eat if you wanna practice, and you know that too.’
Bora bit her lower lip and hovered her hand around the food, indecisive on what she should pick. She got the banana and also wanted the granola bar, but sought after your permission, and you swore to her it was absolutely fine. And so she also took the bar, and sat in the same place as you did, and you followed to sit beside her. Bora opened the plastic wrapping of the granola bar fairly quickly, eating it in only four bites. By the last bite, her right cheek was full to its capacity, and you couldn’t help but snicker. She fought to chew and you continued to laugh, to which she lightly smacked your arm to. You offered to peel the banana for her as she swallowed the last of the bar, taking it from your hand delicately. You got up once again from your seat to bring you water bottle.
‘You can drink from the nozzle, I don’t mind,’ you tell her. Bora had eaten half of the banana before she gulped some of the water, finishing off with a relieved sigh.
‘I guess I really did need that,’ she chuckled.
‘So what have you already done tonight?’ you asked.
‘I pretty much know all the small bits, and I don’t have to do much during my part, which I guess is a good thing, but I need a little help in the first chorus and second chorus.’
‘The leg over the other part?’
Bora put the last remaining piece of the banana in her mouth. ‘Yeah, that.’
‘Alright, then,’ you jumped up. ‘You ready?’
Bora nodded her head wanting to get up, and so held onto your hand so she could do so. Throwing away the peel, her hand still held yours as she led you to the middle of the floor, letting you go to restart the music. Bora moved her finger across her phone screen so she would find the particular part of the song she was referring to. There were a few seconds before the part would begin, giving Bora enough time to return to your side. First, you executed the choreography to the normal speed but still kept an eye on Bora to see where she was going wrong. Mentally, you pointed out that she was not turning quickly enough to her left and which leg she had to hike up confused her. The section of the song ended and you were the one now to pause the music.
‘So you know when your left hand is on your right shoulder, and your right hand is on your skirt,’ you started, ‘you turn with your right knee pointed out, drop for half a beat, right back around, so your right side will be out to the audience.’
You demonstrated at a slow pace and Bora paid close attention. She was already tempted to try it out herself, but you told her to just watch for the time being.
‘And whatever leg is behind you is the one you hike up.’
‘Ohhh,’ Bora exclaimed, ‘so it’s not the one in front?’
‘No, the one behind.’
‘That makes a lot more sense now…’
‘And when your left side is out, the leg behind you goes up, in this case the right one.’
‘And then the dip one more time, and then it’s the skirt snatch.’
‘Exactly,’ you nodded. Bora lightly clapped with her fingers and a grin on her face, happy that she has finally understood the choreography. ‘Let’s try again,’ you suggested, walking over to the studio.
The song began replaying and you took your position next to Bora. You counted her and yourself in to begin; Bora did the dance almost identically to yours, enough to let you know that she has now got the hang of it. When it ended, she sighed in relief.
‘But I wanna see you do it,’ you say.
‘Just me?’ she said almost nervously.
‘Yeah. Ready?’
Bora wasn’t even given the chance to reply when she heard the music play again. You didn’t even count her in just to see if she was paying attention, and she showed you that she was. At first she was a bit shaken, however as the song progressed, she became more confident in herself and the dance, and was able to execute it almost perfectly.
‘Yeah! Well done,’ you exclaimed. You paused the music and walked over to her. ‘That wasn’t so difficult, was it?’
‘Because I had your help. Thanks for coming out tonight.’
‘My pleasure. So is that it?’
Bora scrunched her eyebrows, with an expression that read disappointment. ‘You already wanna leave?!’
‘No…’ you said with a chuckle. ‘I was just wondering if you needed any other help.’
‘Oh,’ Bora said sharply. ‘I just thought that—‘
‘I’ll stay here for as long as you want me to, if that’s what you needed to hear.’
‘Ah,’ Bora laughed nervously. ‘Good. Then I need help with something else.’
‘What is it?’
‘You know the second chorus, the ‘I’m so fine, I’m so fine’ part? Well—‘
‘That’s probably the easiest part,’ you said.
‘Yeah, may be! But!’ Bora wrapped her arms around your right one, looking at your eyes with large and puppy eyes. ‘I need you to show me it again.’
‘Seriously?’
‘Pretty please…’
Bora drifted her eyes down, and you weren’t sure to where. Her face began to lean in to the side of your face, but you panicked and you quickly pulled away, startling Bora.
‘Uh, alright, I’ll show you, just…’ you cleared your throat. ‘Just watch first.’
You quickly jogged to the speaker to restart the song in the appropriate part, and you took your position. Bora kept her distance for security, still a bit confused by your sudden rejection. With your back to her, you proceeded to dance, showing her the moves she herself needed to do, and once you were finished, she moved closer.
You paused the music once more, and asked ‘any questions?’
‘Um…’ Bora rubbed her arm. ‘Is it to the left or right first?’
Bora’s voice had become more timid and frigid, and you had sensed that you shook her. It was completely unintentional and now you began to feel guilty, quickly wanting to make amends.
‘Well,’ you walked over to her and took her hand to move her closer to the mirror, moving behind her and placing your hands on her hips to guide her through the dance. ‘It’s to the right. Pulse once before hitting it on the right, and then the same on the left. And do that twice.’
You push with your left hand her left hip gently so she would dip to the right. She took the indication and moved her hips accordingly, first to the right and then to the left.
‘And your hands are over your head,’ you explained, and she followed the instruction. With her hands out of the way, you were able to pull her body closer to yours, your hands still on her hips. She began to move faster as the momentum began to build, and she got the hang of it.
‘There you go,’ you complimented her.
‘Do you think people will have their necks turning now?’ Bora chuckled lowly.
‘You’ll give them whiplash,’ you said, making yourself and Bora laugh.
As she laughed, she dropped her arms, she laid her hands on top of yours, gripping onto them tightly. The laughs that consumed the room began to die down, and you leaned your forehead to her shoulder, letting it rest there for a few moments. As the room came to a complete silence, Bora’s hands were still latched onto yours, and your own fingers also held hers. You lifted your head to look over her shoulder and to the mirror to see Bora also looking at it, more specifically at you and how you held her so affectionately. Looking at her eyes, you felt such comfort and such serenity that you had to close your eyes to inhale that moment. With your exhale, you planted small and shallow kisses on the bare skin of Bora’s neck and upper back. After the first one you looked over her shoulder again to see her reaction, seeing that she had closed her eyes and parted her lips. You continued and placed one more in the same spot, and the next a little lower. You moved the trail to the highest point of her shoulder next to her neck, and you felt her jump slightly in your embrace. Wanting to pull back as you thought you scared her once again, Bora did indeed remove her back from you, only to quickly turn around to cup your jaw with both hands. Bora lunged for your lips, taking you by surprise and falling back slightly. With stepping out a foot to balance yourself, you also placed your hands upon her waist to further stabilise yourself. Only once you became balanced did you realise what was happening: Bora had you staying still enough so she could kiss you, the softness and plumpness of her lips almost making the kiss feel like paperweight. Bora was still holding herself back, she herself was feeling apprehensive that you would pull away once more. She waited for any indication that you were alright, that you also wanted this, and held you until then.
That confirmation came when you held onto Bora’s hand that were still on your jaw to move them enough to allow her arms to wrap around your neck, allowing you to deepen the kiss by applying more pressure. You then felt the extent of the softness of her lips, and you thought that they were the softest lips you had ever kissed. To have as much contact as possible, you placed your hands on the small of her waist to push her into you, caressing it. You both paused the kiss to inhale deeply in the attempt to catch your breath. You looked to her lips to kiss her once more, Bora had lowered her head, making you unable to even look at her.
‘Hey,’ you say softly, lowering your head so you could look at her, ‘Are you okay?’
‘Yeah, I’m just,’ Bora sighed and began to look up, ‘this is just a bit surreal. I didn’t think you’d like me—‘
As soon as Bora’s head was up straight again, you devoured her lips once more, this time not caring for being gentle or mindful, you just wanted to feel her and taste her as much as you could. The intensity of the kiss was quickly reciprocated with Bora now nipping at your lower lip. You would growl under your breath, your hands searching for any available skin to grab onto. Instead, your hands lowered down to her ass cheeks, stroking it ever so often with your thumb. When your palms got a better grip on her cheeks, Bora chuckled, and her parted lips allowed your tongue to enter past her lips. This kiss was as passionate as it could have been, and you struggled to breathe.
‘Oh shit,’ you gasped, ‘what were we supposed to be doing again?’
‘Something,’ Bora exhaled, ‘but I prefer this.’
You laughed. ‘We have to finish the rehearsal.’
‘Do we?’ Bora whined.
You nodded. ‘Come on, it’ll be quick.’
You smacked one of her ass cheek lightly before heading to the speaker one final time. You restarted the song from the beginning and put it to play.
‘All of it?!’ Bora exclaimed.
‘All of it. Just once,’ you said.
Bora sighed and agreed to do it, reluctantly, however. She began the choreography, at first unable to keep her eyes off you, but you pointed to the mirror, which was where she was supposed to be looking. The part Bora had difficulty with had started and you kept a close eye on her. Thankfully, she completed it successfully and moved on. You showed her two thumbs up and allowed her to continue. As the dance came to an end, you began to smile, everything that Bora had to do she did. By the end of the song, you had a grin on your face and brought your hands up to clap them.
‘That was awesome!’ you said. You reached out your arms as you wanted to pull Bora in for an embrace, but instead she pecked your face repeatedly.
‘Thank you, thank you, thank you,’ she said, placing kisses all over your face. The final kiss was on your lips, longer than the rest. Your lips curved into a smile, finding her ever so cute.
‘We can get something to eat if you’re still hungry,’ you suggested.
‘Mmm-hmm,’ she agreed, ‘as long as it is not bananas and granola bars?’
You laughed. ‘I promise it’ll be something better.’
