Borderlands: Skies the Ultimate Treasure Hunter
Skies and her crew make their way through an ancient ship.

The Treasure of Captain Red-eye Part 3
The sound of their footsteps echo endlessly as Skies, Sasha, and the Vault Hunters walk down the silent, empty, metallic halls of Captain Red-eye’s ship. It’s pitch dark, the kind of dark that hasn’t seen light in years. Each of them carry a flashlight, illuminating their way.
“You guys feel that?” Skies asks excitedly, “we are literally walking in the footsteps of legends right now. Oh, if these walls could talk, the stories they would have. Just smell that history.”
“Smells like dust,” Zane comments. Mr. Chew sneezes up a dust cloud, accentuating his statement.
“I would think a famous pirate queen would have a more decorated ship,” Moze remarks.
“Maybe she hid all the decorations with the rest of the treasure,” Skies suggests.
“How big is this ship supposed to be?” Amara asks.
“That log said it took the researchers days to explore it,” FL4K points out.
“We don’t have days to spare,” Skies says, “eventually, all those people on the surface are gonna finish killing each other and only the smart and/or powerful ones will be left and they’ll find their way down here somehow. We have to get to the treasure before they do.”
“How?” Zane asks.
“Well, if I was a powerful pirate queen with mountains of treasure, I’d keep it in the bowels of the ship,” she replies, “so keep an eye out for stairs or any other way down.”
They continue on, their footsteps echoing off the metal walls the only sound to be heard for miles. They pass by doorways leading into empty rooms or more corridors, but no sign of treasure or any form of life.
After a few minutes, Skies clears her throat and looks at Sasha, who’s been following them quietly. “So, what have you been up to these last few years?”
“Oh, y’know, the usual,” she shrugs, “travelling the galaxy, igniting a rebellion here and there, finding legendary treasures.”
“Oh, yeah? Like what?”
“You know the Cat’s Eye Diamond of Zaralex?”
“No shit, that was you? Ugh, jealous,” Skies says. “And what about your sister? She’s not here with you?”
99% of the Borderlands fandom: Zer0 is an alien/robot/a fucking siren/naruto
Me, a fucking idiot: Zer0 is Davis Pickle, ya’ll.
Baby with a gun
Pickle's new echo portrait for those who might not have seen it
I hate what they did to Pickle but it's nice to at least see his ghost around the Speakeasy :/ I have one question though...
Why is he naked??? 😭😭
