Rhys from tales from the borderlands?

⭐️ Rhys from Tales From the Borderlands is a longhaired chihuahua.

The Chihuahueño are a breed of Mexican toy dog famously known as the smallest dog breed in the world. Like many other small dogs, the Chihuahua may display above-average aggression toward people and other dogs. They don’t do well with small children and need a healthy amount of attention to keep from developing anxiety. They’re clever, but have a terrier disposition, which can make training difficult.

Kisses and Clasps

After a long day, Jack struggles with his mask, and Rhys gives him a little help.

Rhys is utterly exhausted. He and Jack have spent the last few days preparing for an enormous business deal, only for it to blow up in their faces at the last minute cause of that damn Tediore bitch.

The whole endeavor has been beyond frustrating, but at least they're home now.

Glancing at the clock on their bedside table, he realizes it's been about 24 hours since he's slept, meaning it's been nearly 48 hours for Jack. He doesn't know how the man does it. His blood must be half caffeine at this point.

He's just finished getting his favorite pajamas on, yellow silk ones that were a gift from Jack, when the man in question walks in. He's already stripped of his jacket and vest, and is cussing Coldwell out under his breath.

As Jack gets ready himself, Rhys can't help but watch. He's good at hiding it, but he can see how tired the other man is by how slow and deliberate his movements as he trades sweater and jeans for boxers and a well worn Hyperion tee.

When he finishes, Rhys watches as Jack hesitates before reaching to take off his mask.

Jack fumbled with his mask for a moment, but exhaustion and anger coupled with his large hands make his movements clumsy.

His fingers clench for a moment, and Rhys can tell he's getting frustrated. "You'd think after wearing this friggin thing for so long, I'd be better at this" he growls out as he continues struggling.

Rhys stands from the bed and comes close to the other man, taking his fumbling hands in his own, and slowly lowers them.

"Here, let me help you."

Jack sighs and closes his eyes. "Thank you cupcake."

Rhys leans foreward and tenderly kisses each anchor point near his eyes as he gently undoes both tiny clasps.

He tilts Jack's head forward slightly, kissing first his left temple, then his right, unclasping them in turn.

Next are the large clasps near his ears. A kiss, a click, and they too are freed. Rhys can't help but give his earlobe a small nibble while he's there. The quiet chuckle Jack lets out is like heaven.

And last but not least is the largest clasp. The one on his chin. Rhys slowly peppers kisses around it before freeing its grasp.

He reaches up and removes the mask, now freed, and drinks in the sight before him. Jack's true face, the face he so rarely gets to see. It's pale and scarred, but it's him. So much more than the false flesh in his hands ever will be.

Finally, he tosses the facade aside, leans in, and kisses Jack on his real lips. It's long and deep and he pours every ounce of passion and love he holds for the man before him into it.

When they finally break, both breathless and glowing, jack smiles. "What do I do to deserve you pumpkin?"

And Rhys answers with the words etched into his heart. "You just keep being yourself," he says, tracing Jack's scars with his eyes, like he's done a thousand times before. "The most handsome man in the universe."
