Even though it has a lot problems, I still love The owl house. It just gives me comfort and inspires me to write. It has inspired me to rewrite it with me trying to resolve all its problems xd
Owl house is deffo the least egregious in terms of problems-problems. I think its fine, and I dont think it has PROBLEMS like SU has PROBLEMS. It's just not my vibe- which is weird cause I love that fantasy shit and it totally should be up my alley. But.. It wont click for me- and it's weird cause I really like Luz and Eda. Hm.
Honestly, it's biggest issue was failing to wrap up it's story in a meaningful amount of time. It had 40 episodes. Gravity Falls had 40. Over the Garden Wall had 10. Death Note had 37. Princess Tutu had 26.
Like, Look. I get it. You want your show to last forever. But unless your show is attached to a huge IP or is like, idk, One Piece or the Simpsons.... then, if you care about telling your story, you gotta be able to wrap up your story in two seasons
Owl House had plenty of time to wrap up it's story, and it's rushed ending was a majority the fault of the writers and- heck, I recall that those rushed few episodes were kind of wasted? But it really hurt the show as a whole.
But overall, it's fine! It's good, even! But I vaugely kept up with it and wasn't dedicated to seeing every ep.
