Anyway. The moral of what I'm talking about is that even though no social media site will ever love you or genuinely give a fuck about you, this is a reminder that X does not give any fuck whatsoever about you past your ability to feed its AI algorithm and still has the audacity to hate you more so then most sites.
And no matter how many times we call it Twitter, it will never be Twitter again. X is the parasite controlling twitters corpse and we have to stop pretending that it's still Twitter.
I empathize deeply with wanting to post there, because that's where the people are And I acknowledge that it's a damaging move to not do so. But it also worth remembering that every time you do you are feeding the pit monster for it to live another day.
Deviantart really was one of the best formats for artists, however- the downside is that it doesn't expose your art to non-artists. Thus you don't get varied engagement. That is why nobody uses deviantart anymore nor its modern alternatives. Why would you post your art on a site for artists, where you would only get feedback from artists? When you can post on the social medias and get feedback from everyone.
Tumblr Is, unfortunately, the median between the gallery site and the social media site. There's just enough variety here to provide texture to feedback while still having somewhat of a tagging system, whereas the tweet style sites ( X, Blue Sky, Mastodon etc) lack categorization or navigation that benefits artists in any way.
Can't really speak for Instagram though. I've never used it In any capacity. And due to the absolutist way they block people who don't have accounts, it doesn't really encourage me to even start. Not that I ever would.
Simultaneously hating Twitter while thinking I may have shot in it myself in the foot by not cross-posting anyway. I don't want to put my art on the art stealing bird app but also what would things be like if I had?
If yu looks like a banchō, but isn't.. Yui looks like a sukeban, but isn't. They are both niceys.
The appeal of Yui over a kotone-esque femc is her having Yu's explicit brand of autism being applied to the usual " My story needs to be different in a specific way to accommodate how society treats my gender and/or how I've been socialized in this gender" that you would have to get rid of in order to define the femc as an entirely separate character.
Not that a "Mi" isn't a bad idea. But where Kotone is an exploration of depression in a contrasting way to Makoto- Mi would have to expressly embody the same themes Yu explores at a different angle. Yui is able to still follow Yus themes. What those are, exactly, is still up for debate.
New Famitsu Art
do you guys prefer your yu narukami with or without hrt?
the persona golden anime is marie's yumeshipping fic about Yu Narukami
It's usually Yosuke that yearns pathetically, but I think Yu should too, as a treat
torn between going full tilt oh hornyposting to establish my space as adult but also don't want to because it's not fun all of the time and tehre are niceys people who proboably wouldn't stick around if I did. dillemas.
But wait, there's more!
@wanderjegson, thank you for the art!
If you could assign a phantom thief costume to each member of the investigation team, who would get each one?
I would rather Yu get a mona onesie but
Yu: as main character, he gets Joker. Already assumed and confirmed.
Yosuke: will most likely get Skull or Fox. It's possible he might get prince Crow. As both magician and best friend and wind user, he should get a mona themed outfit but alas...
Chie: as first girl, possible she may get panther, but Queen would fit her better.
Yukiko: Panther or Noir. I'd prefer to see her as Noir. Possibly Violet. Fits Makotos archetype so also possibly queen.
Kanji: dead ringer for Skull, but also has a fair shake at Dark Crow. Nonzero chance as Fox.
Teddie: most likely Mona. Would be funny if he got Crow or Violet.
Rise: I'd like to see her as Panther, but she will get Oracle. Possibly Noir.
Naoto: Prince Crow. Possibly Noir.
Labrys dlc will give us labrys as violet.
uh oh
So... uhh.
Yu will most likely get Crow as his second outfit
Which means Naoto will most likely get Noir.
Most Likely: Yukiko -> Panther, Rise -> Oracle, Naoto -> Noir
Ideally: Yukiko -> Noir, Rise -> Panther, Naoto -> Oracle
but we'll see
awa i love when people actually like.. explore actual p4femc stuff instead of just replacing Yu wholesale.
I also like how everyone agrees that Yosuke is down bad for Yu and once he's given zero reason to have reservations he's basically proposing.
