Thoughts, abbreviated

Some things I've thought.

Sometimes I feel more like a fan than a friend.

I often feel like the only way I can make friends is by giving them stuff (fanart, money, etc.)

I have a bad habit of inviting people I barely know to my house (I've had bad birthday parties).

I don't exude trustworthiness, which bothers me a lot.

Hah, it's probably for the best.

The good thoughts:

- SPACE TRAVEL YES YES YES YES YES YES - wE'RE GOING THROUGH THE WORM HOLE AND IT LOOK AMAZING - ALSDKFJLKJ WORM HOLES - LASDKFJLSDKFJ ASLDKFJ - SATURN - Gosh this movie would be great as a comic book.

The bad thoughts:

- Christopher Nolan needs to work on his mid-game. - Screaming at your daughter expecting her to know your future thoughts through 5 dimensions is a no - Using "Laws" like Newton's 3rd and Murphy's to justify irresponsible behavior like lying and not communicating is a no - Come on Nolan you are 44 yrs old act mature 

More bad thoughts:

The guys who died weren't given much thought, as if the storyteller didn't care about them because they were going to die. (Though, I guess it was iterated that it wasn't death the characters feared, but lost time with loved ones.)  Was not a fan of the soundscape. My mother could have written a better black man.  But here, I'll end on a good note. I actually really liked the parts that were good! The sciencey tidbits kept my nerd side happy. And the moment the spaceship broke through the worm hole I nearly cried. At that moment, I knew why I loved stories and science so much.

There's something comforting about listening to the music I used to like 10 years ago. I still like them now, and that makes me feel like the thoughts and opinions I had when I was younger are as equally valid as my thoughts and opinions now, even though I'm an adult and I was "just" a kid 10 years ago.

Hey younger self. You're as cool as me. We're on equal ground, even though we live totally different lives now.
