Stopped by #BorisDinga yesterday to visit and bring some supplies. I was so happy to see the outer stairs repaired! It's a safer campus for this work.

Stopped by #BorisDinga yesterday to visit and bring some supplies. I was so happy to see the outer stairs repaired! It's a safer campus for this work.
With these last few purchases and a final set of uploads to the online portal, the formal process of our #microscopes project is over! These slides and slide covers will be used in practical activities in biology class at #BorisDinga. These markers will be used on the new white board purchased by the Parents & Teachers Association for the biology classroom as part of the project (and buying them used up the last two dollars of grant funds). I'm so grateful to Mrs. Olga for creating this project and involving me in making it happen. Life for her as a science teacher and life for #BorisDînga students as science learners has changed for the better thanks to all her hard work and creativity! #HealthEducation
Given our positive experiences throughout our #HealthCampaign about alcohol, we added one more component! Students in #HealthEducation have learned a lot about risk factors and how alcohol (and other drugs, especially tobacco) affect our health long-term. They have much knowledge to share with their peers! So, students in 6th & 8th grade were invited to make posters about why it's good to say no to alcohol and other drugs as an adolescent. This week my partners and I have been administering the #PeaceCorps #HealthEducation assessment. Our students took the pre-test in early October and now they're taking it again to measure how effectively my partners and I teach about key topics.
