he was SLY , jolting as if he’d been startled , slipping his fingers in his pocket to peer into the face of his phone screen . nothing but his background was reflected back , it was all a FAUX ACT , breaking into a brisk jog after the fact as to not raise any suspicion . at the first turn , he tugged the stranger into an alley and urgently pressed his fingers to his lips .
