History repeats itself !
May 2, 1973 NASA astronaut Frank Borman finished his second visit to the USSR, this time he spent 5 days in Russia as vice-President of Eastern Airlines discussing possible sale of computer programs applicable to airline reservations and maintenance operations. (Photo: GettyImages)
“Anne was given a special coat of arms to show her rise in status, a falcon…”
Er, I think you mean her own badge was just reworked to give it royal symbolism, with the addition of the crown and sceptre etc. The falcon itself was already hers from her family Butler ancestry ….
Why does this woman always cut out essential facts cos it just ends up making what she’s saying sound inaccurate.
Apollo 8 astronaut wives Valerie Anders (left) and Susan Borman are ecstatic to finally hear their husbands voices from space in 1968. The mission was exciting for all the firsts: first to use the giant Saturn V rocket; first crewed spacecraft to leave Earth orbit, reach the Earth's Moon, orbit it (and endure the broadcast blackout while the spacecraft passed behind the dark side of the Moon) and return safely to Earth. For all these reasons it was extremely stressful for the wives at home.

God help us, but the documentary about Jane Boleyn, Lady Rochford is being aired tonight and is presented by Borman. Apparently she "challenges many of the myths surrounding Jane's life". This is the same woman who, for the Channel 5 documentary about Anne Boleyn in The Fall of Anne Boleyn: Arrest, Trial, and Execution stated as fact more than once that Jane Boleyn was guilty of bringing her husband and sister-in-law to their deaths. Either she's had a change of heart (which I seriously doubt), or she's gonna spew more godforsaken crap which incidentally the remaining evidence does not substantiate. Either way, it'll be an excruciating and infuriating watch which will not help Jane's reputation one bit, but will make me re-injure my hand by constantly throwing nearby objects at the screen.
