A warm smile, and he gestures over to a biobed. "Alright, miss. You go have a seat, and I'll take a look."

"T’Avi, T’Avi!!" Jim had knelt down to the officer, his hands on her shoulders as he attempted to get her to calm down; racking his mind for anything that would work. "It’s okay, It’s just me. Your alright, your fine…!"
Something about this time of the year just made Jim giddy. They might have been millions of light years away from space, but even without running a Terran calendar he'd have known what time of the year it was. Jim Kirk was a Christmas man and he wasn't afraid to show it. Everyone knew it was inevitable when on the first day of what would be December back on Earth he came trampsing onto the Bridge into a specially made Command Yellow ugly Christmas sweater.
He had spent the better part of the day decorating his quarters, excited about sharing his first Christmas with T'Avi. Christmas music filled the room as he swirled about with tinsel. A plastic tree he snuck in with his belongings now sat erect in the corner, covered in decorations and blinking festively with the string of bright lights, illuminating his decorations and ornaments. A pair of stockings hung on the wall near the tree, each reading their names. To top everything off, he placed the few presents he had ready under the tree, completing the look.
Satisfied, Jim scurried down to Engineering with a flask of scotch for the Scotsman - a bribe as he went to whisk away one of Scotty's crew. It didn't take long to find her, running a diagnostics test and rather distracted - and it didn't take long for Jim to sneak up beside her, wrapping his arms around her waist from behind and kissing up her shoulder and neck.
"I'm stealing you away." He whispered as his kissed along her ear. "Come on, before Scotty changes his mind."
And with that, he took her hand and smiled. Tugging her away, they walked briskly beside one another before arriving back at their own quarters. His slipped behind her, placing his hands over her eyes.
"Are you ready?"
He was almost jumping with excitement as he pushed in the code, letting the door swoosh open and them them in. As they entered, the lights illuminated the room and as a new carol played over the sound system, Jim couldn't help but start to sing it to her.
"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas~" He crooned, bowing. A hand reached out, asking for her to dance with him.

The science officer had heard news of a new engineer working aboard the Enterprise. Some of the crew would look to Spock as they gossiped, wondering how he felt about having another Vulcan as a crewmate. He did find it refreshing, however, think it would be refreshing to have someone who could share the same point of view as he did.
After his shift was over, he made his way to engineering to meet with the new crew member, dispite the frequent glances.
"You're gonna catch a cold."
