SOUTHERN BORNO YOUTH FORUM ANNUAL MEETING WITH STAKEHOLDERS The event which took place at the Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB), had in attendance Youths representatives from all the nine (9) LGAs of Southern Borno. The meeting was chaired by Comr. Musa Bello Musa (President, Southern Borno Youth Forum) and Co-chaired by Hon. Tanimu Adamu Tahir (Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria) Some of the issues discussed with formidable proposed solutions are: Youths participation in Political thuggery, Insecurity in the region, Drug Abuse among Youths etc. At the end of the meeting a surprised portrait frame was presented to Hon. Tanimu Adamu Tahir in recognition of our modest efforts to the Youths in the State, Nigeria and the world at large. After extensive deliberations, we visited our Father and Leader, the Emir of Biu; His Highness, MAI MUSTAPHA UMAR II (DINAR) to brief him on the efforts of the Southern Borno Youths and to also seek for his fatherly blessings, guidance and support. As expected, the Emir expressed his delight and gave assurances of his support to all responsible Youths who are ready and committed to compliment the commendable efforts of government on fighting insecurity in the zone, state and beyond. Political thuggery which has become a very disturbing menace was also discussed and His Highness graciously offered insightful ideas on how best we can tackle the issue. Stressing that owing to the conspicuously demonstrated efforts of the Zulum-led Government to eradicate political thuggery having banned it officially, His Highness passionately encouraged us to wake up and support the Borno State Government. Finally, the Borno State's Youth Leader, Hon.
