          the sounds of fists are slapping against the bag that seemed to be filled with beads , and for most boxers this would be their little punching bag they would practice on before a big game , and that seemed to be no different for the fine specimen that she was indeed spying on right now . had interjected on their time in the ring , just standing against a pillar in the shadows as she watched them practice hitting in awe ; and this was a usual sight for her considering the profession of father who she loved dearly . jade shouldn’t be here and she’s entirely aware of that .. a strict discussion from dad going in one ear and out the other , she didn’t want to hear his thoughts and opinions when it came to her love life .. what daughter would abide ?   ❝  careful . hit that any harder and your fists are going to bleed out .  ❞  she’ll mutter out once there’s finally silence .

              he’s opening up his front door to the petite figure standing in the doorway , hand resting on door frame while he gives them a full look through and then finally steps aside to allow them into his humble aboad .  ❝  nice to see you here . figured you’d be working in the office late .. or having an after work drink with he who shall not be named .  ❞  eyes will roll after the last tagline of his sentence , a sticky situation that the twosome had found themselves in with none other than father . reid had told himself not to fall into their little web , to ignore that wicked charm and glance away from those eyes that gleamed whenever they smiled -- -- but he was never one to take his own advice , and now he was stuck in this meddling .

she  knew  it  was  inevitable  that  this  would  happen  ,  after  not  seeing  them  for  so  long  she  would  be  surprised  if  they  hadn’t  seen  someone  else  .  and  yet  ,  even  if  it  was  something  half  of  her  was  expecting  ...  it  still  shattered  her  heart  into  a  million  pieces  .  “   i’m  ----  sorry  ,  i  just  didn’t  expect  you  to  have  ---  someone  .   ”   she  was  at  a  loss  for  words  ,  which  was  rare  for  the  blonde  seeing  on  a  normal  day  she  was  nothing  if  not  a  rambling  mess  .  she  looks  at  the  ground  below  them  ,  the  tears  wanting  to  well  up  but  her  mind  refusing  to  let  them  show  .   “   who  is  she  ?   ”  she  casually  asks  ,  a  soft  smile  on  her  lips  as  she  pushes  through  the  complete  heartbreak  .
