Her eyes, God they were beautiful.
She had these pair of eyes that were not only made for seeing the world she lived in, but they also allowed others to see a whole new world when looking in. And in that way, her eyes were like a window to something you’ve never experienced before in your life. It was filled with left over ashes of despair and hollowness. But that’s what made it so sexy, luring, electrifying and full of lust. The enigma of her eyes, set a tone for any man who ever glanced at them. I hate the television, but I loved watching tv with her. I used to look at her with the corner of my eyes, and the way she stared at the tv, it always just left me in complete awe. The way she pays full attention to everything her eyes set on, it was like she was interested in everything and I adored that. More than anything, I loved the way she looked at me. She looked at me like I was the only man that she could ever possibly love.
Her mind, God it’s beautiful.
I was more than comfortable not ever having sex. I enjoyed just being there with her. When she spoke, it always forced a smile on me. And I don’t smile. She had this type of aura that you couldn’t just let go unnoticed. Her sensitivity to the world was special, because she had suffered greatly in her past but still maintained to hold onto her innocence. She wrote.. Yeah, she wrote. I told myself I would never be interested in another writer just because two sides of the same charge generally pushes away from each other. But she had changed everything for me. We went together like the ocean and a sailor. Everything was unexpected, there were waves, storms, sunlight, and even silence but in the end we knew it just felt right being together. If you were to ask me who was the ocean and who was the sailor in this relationship, I would have to say that she was the ocean and I was the sailor. She was the thing that lived in me, and I was the thing that grew onto her. We never felt like we had to be together, it was more of a willingness that we couldn’t describe—that I couldn’t describe. If I remember correctly, our favorite thing to do on a date was drink coffee. We always had things to talk about, and if there was nothing to talk about we just read alongside each other and discussed what we had read afterwards. To me, she understood me as a whole human-being, not just my shell. And for that, I will always love her.
When we made love, we made love. Her body was the definition of a perfect temple, and her skin was so soft I had a hard time of ever letting go of her. She had so many spots, and I hit them all. I would start by kissing her neck, sneak up top and kiss her on the lips for a few seconds and go back down to her neck. She absolutely loved it when I did that. What she loved more was when I worked my way down and kissed her stomach, her hips, and her inner thighs. There were days when we’d make love until the sun came up. Her facial expression and the tone in her voice during coitus was beyond exhilarating. Though, I had to make sure that if anything had ever gotten between us that she’d be imagining me when she’s having intercourse with another person. And I think I did just that.
Our relationship was like a flower that bloomed perfectly, however what had bloomed was a rare flower. And when dealing with a flower that holds prestige, it requires special care. We looked away and before you knew it, it started to die. We had to say good bye. But a part of both of us died that day, and we both knew it. We sure did know it. This type of person that I had met, this type of person that I had spent countless days with, is a once in a life time person. You only get one of those in your life. I never saw her or spoke to her again, and I have no idea where she is or what she is doing.

Past.
