Then check out The Ron Jeremies and Boxing Dei Dei at The Gig on the 14th. Restore your good vibes for next month by attending Boomfest’s Blood Drive-In on October 29th to watch Lost Boys while you save lives.
SAGITTARIUS Life takes an upward swing this month, so celebrate with The Ron Jeremies and Hollywood Skunks at The Publicity on the 2nd. Keep the party going with Terror Pigeon and Hallelujah Fantasy at Texas Rose Saloon on Oct 15. Shine your light at V-Haus on the 26th and jam out with Moses Nesh. Try to light all of our candles. We promise not to blow them out.
CAPRICORN Oh, my. The stars see that not only has your life fallen apart, but the pieces are blowing away. Get your shit together in time to jam out to Total Strangers and Great Shapes at The LogOn on Oct 14. Pretend to have your life together at the McFaddin-Ward House Picnic on Oct 27. You can sip wine, watch Beetlegeuse, and convince everyone you’re fine. Really.
AQUARIUS Hey there, lovelies. Start your month off right with Mad Maude and the Hatters + Snorlaxx at the Gig on Oct 1st. Spend the 22nd at the Neches Brewing Co. watching The Reputations, and stroll across the lawn at the McFaddin-Ward House picnic on Oct 27. Finally, cut loose and get a bit dirty at Halloween Band Nite on Oct 29.
PISCES You are looking damn sexy, Pisces. The stars want you to strut it all over town, starting at TASI on Oct 1st for Neal Pitak’s solo exhibit. Head over to The Red Room on Oct 19 and groove to Unu, Tele Novella, and Ariel Bush. Take a ton of Instagram photos for the stars to creep at the McFaddin-Ward picnic on Oct 27. Finally, come to the Boomfest Blood Drive-In on the 29th to flirt with the stars while watching Lost Boys.
ARIES October brings bright days for you, Aries. Ir a la Beaumont Art League on October 8 for the Celebración del Arte Latino, and then sashay over to the AMSET Monster Mash on the 21st. It costs money, but you’re having a great month so go get it. Continue the party at The Red Room on the 27th with Delicious Fuzz and The Cryptics. Get your mouth on that fuzz.
TAURUS Keeping it classy, Taurus. The stars are in envy. Live it up this month starting with Unu and Pocket Vinyl at the LogOn on the 6th. Follow up with Kevin Clay’s art exhibit at High Street Gallery, entitled TIMEWASTER. Dance, dance, dance at AMSET’s Monster Mash party on Oct 21. You are so fancy the stars just can’t even.
GEMINI Have twice as much fun as everyone else by hitting up Unu and Pocket Vinyl at the LogOn on the 6th and the Ron Jeremies and Boxing Dei Dei at the Gig on the 14th. You can totally make both Oktoberfest and High Street Gallery on the 15th, and the stars see you rocking the night away at Halloween band night on the 29th. The stars can’t hate that game.
