This whole relationship had been of their own design. Something a long time coming in Bolin's opinion. Sometime after defeating Unalaq, after Korra had recovered a bit mentally from that hectic mess, after the mover hype over Nuktuk had died down to sporadic interviews or ocassional swarms of die hard fans there had been a decision. Korra and he had started dating. Whether it had started off as just something to help them both repair he didn't know but it had turned into something lasting much longer than a fling. Yet it had to be secret. It had to be given the circumstances. Maybe they were moving past that part, but at the inception of their predicament it had to be secret. Mako nor Asami knew. No one knew. And tonight Bolin had planned to take Korra out to a new place. Somewhere peaceful where they could eat and talk together in peace. As per the usual routine he showed up to Air Temple Island pretending like he wanted to just check on Korra and her training but then they'd sneak out. Unbeknownst to any guard, the kids, and especially Tenzin.
"Hey, Korra!" He exclaimed giddily, "You ready?"
