you something a lil more ... well, special, i guess? but i guess i was out of cash! so i guess we have to settle for this--- but it’s the thought that matters, right? ❜ she places the small object on his palm as she gives off a soft giggle. ❛ well, i guess that’s it dude! happy birthday! hope your day will be totes rad cuz you deserve it! ❜ ( 2/2 )

  the amount of presents shouto has had today is more than he’s ever been given in his life. the size of it doesn’t matter to him; it’s the fact that she cared at all. he hadn’t even - how did she get his birthday. 

 still, he doesn’t let the shock reach his face. he’s empassive as ever, even in his overwhelming urge to hug her really tight. he has a reputation to maintain, after all. she does, however, get one of his rare, patented smiles, soft round the edges, and eyes glowing with emotion.

  “thank you. i’ll... i love it.” he slips it onto his phone right away, and shakes it, as if to show it off. he does love cats. calicos are... his favourites.
