The Boruto-Sarada-Sumire love triangle is such a perfect example of the misogyny in the story. It’s so unnecessary. Aside from everything, Sarada is Boruto’s best friend. It is not weird or inherently romantic that she hugged Boruto the moment she saw him after years apart. I would’ve done the same fucking thing.
Sumire being jealous isn’t really the problem. She’s a teenage girl. It happens. Plus, she feels bad later. It’s more so about the context of this manga. This is a battle manga, and Sumire has now been reduced to her crush on Boruto just like Eida was reduced to her crush on Kawaki. Like girls, please, there are tree people to fight. What are you doing?

I don’t know why I still read Boruto honestly it’s like:

ITS THE ZOMBIFIED CORPSE OF A PLOT, CLAWING ITS WAY INTO MY BRAIN EVERY MONTH. NOT EVEN THE WORST FANFICTION AUTHOR COULD COME UP WITH SOMETHING TO RIVAL THE INSANITY OF THE CURRENT STATE OF CANON. KISHIMOTO AND THE OTHER CREATORS DESERVE JAIL FOR THIS. YOU HEAR ME? JAIL.
