oi this is difficult. if you were to ask lani, she'd probably respond with "wine and guns. better yet, a wine gun. it would be much easier to drink, no?"
but to be completely honest, love isn't a concept that lani is entirely familiar with. she hasn't exactly been exposed to it, what with her mother being absent and her father being away for most of her childhood. that being said, the saints are probably the only people she truly loves, the people who taught her love, even if she has no definition of it.
