Fun Desmond posed in the Bostonius.

I finally got around to finishing this piece in digital. The background really gave me trouble trying to figure out where to set it and trying to practice perspective. I just settled on staging the background on the Bostonius. I also played a bit around with some brush textures in the colouring.

I hope you like it!

Desmond would be that kind of guy who would press a button that says "Don´t press me" . He just wants to know what´s gonna happen after he pressed it.

Thats like, one thing I learned from him after Azran legacy and the story he told about almost crashing the Bostonius. Because he wanted to find out what would happen to the Bostonius if he would push it to it´s limit by going faster.

A project that I started all the way back in March 2020, this has been one hell of a project and I have never loved anything I’ve made more!

The instructions are over 30 pages, but I will probably never make this again, too many bits 😖🧶🧵🪡

And yes, the propellers do spin!!

Concept art of Azran Legacy, found in the gamefiles and upscaled x4.  I assume that they’re supposed to be locations of Hoogland, two Bostonius drafts, Phong Gi, San Grio and The Nest.  These make for some really lovely backgrounds, so feel free to save them!

On the bostonius...

Luke: ...I wonder what happened to Descole?

Emmy: Yeah. He hasn’t come chasing after us yet... I wonder what’s taking him so long.

Layton: Perhaps he is simply somewhere else. He did say he was interested in the Azran, so we should be on our guard.

Des: ...Could you please refrain from mentioning Descole? At least around me?

Layton: Why is that, Professor Sycamore?

Des: I’ve... had bad experiences with him in the past.

Luke: Oh no! Did he manipulate you like he did Randall?

Des: (quickly thinking up a half-lie) Yes. He... used me for my knowledge of the Azran. Sometimes I fear that he will come back to claim the rest of it.

Layton: Don’t worry, Sycamore. A true gentleman doesn’t let harm come to his friends.

Des: ...I’ll take your word for it...
