Cuphead OC Challenge: Ghosts!
Cuphead oc Challenge: Join Me!
Bostyn, more often than not, will down right refuse. There is one scenario which she would but that’s one in a million.
Vondoo would if she could. Since she already sold her soul, she’s just trying to avoid being confronted by a debt collector.
Possessed Bottle.
From malicious to confused, Bostyn’s been controlled by them all at least once in her life. While all possessions result in jurky, unnatural movements; the longer one has been dead, the jurkier the movements are.
Actuall possessions can happen in a matter of seconds. The only warning anyone gets is a chill that causes Bostyn to shudder before her body just falls, limp. How she gets up, depends on the spirit. This has results in at least 1 possession per quarter (school). The spirits can keep control of her body a minimum of a few minutes or a maximum of days. This is due to the fact that Bostyn can’t do anything to get rid of them once they’re within her.
Vondoo can easily exorcise them. In fact, she’s been called when faculty don’t know how to handle such a situation. Most of them are peaceful spirits (when it’s at school)...MOST of them...
Cagney Carnation Pupeteer costume
(I’ve drawn this outfit multiple times and I’m still unhappy with it...maybe coloring it will help...)
Due to the cork in her head, Bostyn can’t add cold or warm liquids to herself. This results in something similar to Dysautonomia (POTS to be more specific) which contains a symptom of an individual’s core temperature may be higher or lower and cannot tolerate either hotter or colder weather. To combat freezing, multiple layers are necessary while avoiding total evaporation requires a multitude of secured bags of ice.
However, even then, freezing and evaporation can still happen if no one pays attention. When those moments happen,
Bostyn feels terrible...cause she’s aware the damper such personal events can put on trips or celebrations. Yet another reason for her to stay at home rather then freely explore.
Due to Vondoo not having to eat to survive (even before selling her soul), there are times that she forgets to feed Bostyn. She tends to overcompensate during the next meal when she realizes she’s inadvertently starved her child.
Bostyn can get her own food but she doesn’t, in order to avoid any possible issues that can arise from it.
Cuphead OC Challenge: Enemy
With a voodoo priestess and a medium, some issues are bound to come up. Spirits that can manifest a significant form are pretty powerful & cause major headaches for Vondoo. You see, when Vondoo’s hit, nothing but a loss of health happens. However, when Bostyn gets hit, she won’t get damaged from the initial hit but she/the player looses control until she hits something. This causes Cala’s level to be their living hell.
A close second would be Phantom Express, more cause Bostyn can’t do a thing more then dodge.
Werner Wermin? His is a breeze since his are a concoction of mechanical engineering.

(I don’t full heartedly hate Cala. It’s just that some of her mechanics gave me a hard time...)
Cuphead OC Challenge: Hello there!
Bostyn’s always been drawn to magic, thanks to Vondoo, so I figured she’d be drawn to the morphing magician. However, she really never talked to them until she began doing a project. ‘A trip to Hell without the sale’ (will be similar to The Carousel of Progress). She wanted to portray people that Cuphead and Mugman seemed to withdraw from their stories, which could be anyone from heart stopping showmen to hardworking kitchen staff. Talking to Connie after hours introduced her to Classandra, who gave her a treat and talked to Bostyn as well.
One of the biggest notes she has, though, is:
I mean, come on, they have very different outward personalities.
*Classandra, the ‘demon’ of gluttony, didn’t attempt her normal routine with Bostyn...
