Dear @queeranarchist, I hope you like this painting of Sam I made for you for the @spncreatorgiftexchange! You mentioned being a fan of the Boy King of Hell and religious iconography and themes, and my mind just went to the image of Lucifer!Sam in The End, with the roses. I was thinking about the religious symbolism of red roses meaning passion and sacrifice which seemed so appropriate for Sam and all he has gone through.
This was done in traditional media: 10″x7″, watercolor on hot-press paper (with a touch of acrylic white and gloss fixative on the roses). I’ll be messaging you a high-res version of this separately shortly!
