I’m having MAJOR Botfa feels rn 😭

idea: bilbo comes home to a ransacked bag end, his furniture splayed all across the yard getting picked over by his neighbors. his mother's glory box is out there. her dishes are stacked neatly on the lawn. his father's pipe collection has wandered off downhill. everything is gone. he steps inside, and there is dust and hollow devastation - and a harp, left for its obvious Foreign workmanship and therefore complete unsaleability. that, at least, is left to him
