been botg for a decent amount of games and there are some wacklin-isms during warm ups that just sit in my brain bc it's so hard to put into words. like how will and mack aren't physically together the entire time but you can just tell they are still in each other's orbits. how they insist on doing their little routine from across the ice but still make bitchy little faces when their teammates skate through and knock into their pucks or make them wait. how mack will do exaggerated sighs and faces like he's disappointed when will doesn't immediately catch the puck or doesn't pass it perfectly to him. until one of them breaks out into a smile, a sheepish shake of the head, and they try it again. how more and more players have been staying out longer for warm ups but will and mack still wait. even if the buzzer has gone off minutes ago, the ice team waiting to clear the ice. they'll wait for each other, until it's just them two, to finish out their rituals.
