was organizing some boxes and I forgot I had this! Definitely gonna be integrating this box into the lamp! Not do I use one of the hundred piece of matching oak for the base? Or darker wood? Or stain the oak. I also originally had the box just sitting flat on the base. I think it'll look much better propped up. This makes it look like it's floating. Also allows the door to open and close freely. How about a walnut and African mahogany pendant light?! The walnut came from scrap pieces and the mahogany is actually pallet wood!
