I am very lucky to know many, if not all, of our talented New Zealand indie polish creators personally. One of these brands is Peacock Pie, created by Serra who also runs a blog of the same name. I can't sing Serra's praises enough - not only is she very creative in terms of nail art, she also makes some stunning polishes! Unfortunately, Peacock Pie polishes are currently on hiatus, but if you like what you see in this post, you could let Serra know by posting on her Facebook page. It might be enough to bring her out of retirement...
This post is actually a combination of two different orders placed a couple of weeks apart. I can't resist pretty things, and I hope by the end of this post, you might feel the same about Serra's creations!
My first order consisted of Kinkiwinkle, Astrella, and Pet Storm Dragon.
Peacock Pie Kinkiwinkle - gold, silver, red, and periwinkle glitters in a deep red base.
Peacock Pie Astrella - a colourful mix of pastel glitters and holographic shimmer in a clear-base. See this polish in a NOTD here.
Peacock Pie Pet Storm Dragon - the polish that started it all, for me at least! Purple, turquoise, and periwinkle glitter with holographic sparkle in a clear base. See my Twinsy Thursdays post using this polish here!
My second order made four more polishes mine - The Final Winkle, Neptune, Rainbow Fish, and Locket.
Peacock Pie The Final Winkle - a clear-based periwinkle glitter mix.
Peacock Pie Neptune - blue and silver glitters in a bright blue jelly base.
Peacock Pie Rainbow Fish - a teal base with purple and gold glitters.
Peacock Pie Locket - purple, orange, yellow, and black glitter in a blue-leaning teal crelly base.
Which one is your favourite?
