I awoke this morning In the strangest of ways

Adrift on the seas, under suns rays 

Surrounded on all sides by horizon and sea

This predicament made me sit I was feeling dizzy

My head was swimming, I was puzzled, perplexed 

But nothing could prepare me for what I noticed next

.

I looked all around, fear crept through my bones

Not only was I at the mercy of Davy Jones

But a further dilemma - and I swear this is true!

I was trapped in a bottle. Made of glass. Which was blue.

.

Now I was quite dry, as the neck of my 'home'

Was securely blocked with some white Styrofoam

My bottle was also quite warm during days

From sitting beneath the suns life giving rays

.

So I sat, and I pondered the situation at hand

And tried to determine how to get to dry land

And what about food? and water - and AIR!!!!

No point getting bearings if I wont even get there

.

Then all of a sudden a seagull appeared

Looked at me hungrily, grinning ear to ear

In my fear I passed out, I awoke on the floor

Of my bedroom, it was all just a dream - nothing more.
