Hey I borrowed some of Gloam’s paper. He seemed pretty mad but I think it’s okay. It’s the clan’s paper, right? We all gotta share! I’m putting this in a bottle cause I thought it might be fun to meet some Water dragons. I’ve been swimming the coast for a bit now and haven’t seen anyone but my friends from the clan. Maybe I’m in the wrong spot?

Oh wait my name. I’m Beachcomber, but call me Beach! Or B? Or... BC. Anyway that doesn’t really matter. I’m the Shifting Wing clan’s official fisher guy. They’d wanted me to help with the hunters in the clan, but I told them I needed to be out in the ocean. They stopped bugging me about it once they saw how good I am with fish.
Every day I head out to the coasts at the edge of the Shifting Expanse and cast out my nets and traps, and then while the little guys are getting all caught up, I get to swim and surf or whatever the ocean says I can do that day. I know EVERY fish that swims these waters and can name all of them! Like the bubbleman, the stripey boy, the super spike-o, and the ouch,-dude. Typically I just fish over in the Expanse, but every now and then Mageroot goes - oh Mageroot’s my boss, he’s the head hunter-gatherer guy - he goes “we need other fish” and I head out somewhere else. I don’t think that dude likes me a whole lot though.
Anyway I want to make some Water friends. There’s some Water dragons in the clan but they’re either too busy or no fun, or both. I promise I can hold my breath like a really long time, AND I’m good at diving real deep. I wanna talk fish and water and riding these waves. You guys gotta be good at that, yeah? Am I stereotyping?? Sorry in advance
