I just

fucking love the bottlesnakes

I didn't notice until recently (because I am not observant) that their scales are shaped like heaRTS. I became obsessed with them immediately. Sentimental bottlesnakes are probably my fave familiar I love them so much ;o;

It does make me wonder though what sort of weird breeding you had to do with buttersnakes to get them to want to go into those bottles. Like those bottles are so small. No way they're approximately sized container for that size of snake
