Hi! I just was wondering if you know why is commonly accepted in the fandom that Laura is a top, I'm not against that headcanon but whatever. Btw, I love your blog 👌🏼

I’m just gonna direct you to this and this. Honestly it’s not that important to me and they could really go either way but it’s just amusing to think that way and have a little fun with that headcanon. And thanks btw!

What I really don't get is why do people say that Carm's a bottom? And Laura's a top? Like how??

Ah yes, the top/bottom debate that is imminent for every ship. Personally I do see it, and here’s why:

• Carmilla “I hate everyone except my little cupcake” Karnstein is whipped AF. She literally almost died from fetching the blade of hastur, knowing that the task would probably kill her, but she did it anyway just because Laura asked. Also I would like to call attention to Carm constantly reminding Laura that everything she’s done has been for her. Even now when they’re broken up, she still follows Laura around like a tiny lost kitten.

• Top!Laura is life. It’s just funny to think about this tiny ball of rage being the top in this relationship when her girlfriend is a 300+ year old vampire. There have been several scenes that have played out like “I’m gonna do the thing!” “Carmilla no!” “Okay fine…” Exhibit A: (this post expands on this topic.) *Plus it’s a nice change in dynamic after ~300 years of being a vampire seductress whose purpose in life was to prey upon innocent girls

But then again, it’s important to remember that someone’s personality don’t always dictate their preferences in the bedroom, and in many healthy relationships, no one is the top or the bottom all the time.

Don't think about Laura spooning Carmilla. Don't think about, when spooning, Laura is able to jusy easily burry her face in Carmilla's hair and breath in her (what..??) scent. Just don't imagine top!Laura
