Yearly check in/Life Update for the New Year✨🎆

Hi! Hello! It’s the new year! It is a little over my second anniversary having this side blog and seriously posting my Arcana content, which is a very big deal for me and I don’t think I’ve ever properly expressed that here or in general lol I’ve had a lot of issues before with online spaces and them being unsafe for me as a teen on the Internet, so once I hit college, I really turned away from engaging in fandom in general. The Arcana and it’s fandom (despite my distaste for certain decisions and others’ behaviors) has really been such a great space to create for me and not for my professors or a class. It’s been very liberating getting to do whatever I want LMAO I’ve been making art and writing things 14 year old me would have shat their pants over, and it’s been the light in such a wild ass year for me, and I felt the need to express my thanks to all of you!! For making it so fun for me!

I say it often that I make fanfics and fanart for me first and others second, but truly, everyone’s (well. almost everyone. LMAO) acceptance of me and my weird shit has been so great. I can say “Valerius has a foot fetish” and get 3 anons asking me to further elaborate—it’s fantastic! LMAO Your comments and likes truly fuel me to keep going and I’m very grateful for the little community I have over here 💕💕

That being said, I do know I have not been posting as much content for the past few months. To be frank, my personal life has been an absolute clusterfuck. I’ve been working two jobs, have been sick on and off, on top of had multiple personal issues come up that made sitting down to write hard. BUT! I do think I’m on an upswing. Soon I think my schedule will be lightening up (fingers crossed), and in turn I can really focus on finishing several projects I have going on that I really want to finish, the main one specifically being Kinktober 2021 :3 I think for now I’m going to focus on transferring my content here to AO3 in case tumblr nukes my account, so that will be fun. And between then, I have a few art pieces I also am almost finished up with to post soon too heheh ✨

All of this is to say I’m happy to be part of this fandom, and as soon as shit stops being silly and goofy at home 🤪, smut and angst will come soon :3c
