He stiffened under her grasp and, for a second, she practically regretted being so forthright. But she’d taken up a lot of her berthside manner from Ratchet and–well, that was relatively self-explanatory. 

“Nor the optics for it,” she added. "Your E.M. field would interfere with my spatial sensitivity. It’ll be relatively painless, though I doubt that’s your primary concern.” Her fingertips mapped the area inflamed around his joint. “I don’t scare you, do I?” she joked.
