irt vague anons. i find it highly frustrating when people frequently come into your inbox with things like "don't do x" when it's veeeery obviously in reference to a specific post but not clear what post they are referencing. Like if you truly wish to improve this blog or even just to 'call out' something you have a problem with on it, why not just... be specific and say "this post has x thing, i have a problem with that"? I really don't understand...
Yeah thats my issue too. Like thats how the anon who was talking about the callouts aby the blog framed it too "plz dont reblog from racist artists thnx". Like i get it i did it though, i dont like it and id never do it but i understand and im not gonna begrudge or berate someone for it.
A mutual on my personal sent an anon like that because i forgot to tag something they needed me to tag. And its like ... I get it. *Shrugs* hell ive sent my share of asks like so far be it from me to be waking around all pot-ly and talking about kettles colors.
Like vagueness bugs me more though because yeah the ask was in reference to the latest piece of art and it might seem obvious to anon but not everyone sees things the same way ! It never occured to me that someone wiuld see that Aziraphale and think white because to me that shade of peach + the hair texture just reads so easily as poc to me.
Like i love that artists art style because as a peachy toned person (heavy pink tones blush rlly easy etc) its nice to see that someone is willing to understand that people can have different undertones?
But tbh in anons defense theres a lot of art (imo weird but just my opinion) where ppl draw their white characters tht tone of peach ? Ive seen it on good omens fandom before where theyre drawing Sheen and Tennant but their coloring style is just .... Very saturated and specific.
