Guys I really want to share my Analysis on the character Nine Forton from "Beware of the villainess".
I really care to do so cause I saw that here on internet he's not very liked as character, and that's really a pity. Cause he is the fist ML in a manhwa/manga/anime to have some specific really remarcable traits of personality, that are in the most cases always addressed as weakness in a male individual. The costruction of this character really goes agaist toxic masculinity and sexism.
First of all I saw a LOT of comments about him being a "cry baby" ( term I'd rather use for Liam the crown prince when start crying and pouting in from of Melissa after cheating on her, that's to me being a "cry baby" and even more and worse...)
On the other hand, when we saw Nine crying is always in really important situation, that worry or hurt him, He cry when he suffer( and this is so reaistc and positive, because istead of shouting those kind of feelings he leave them be and then act on the situation, he doesn't bottle his way of express feelings); may it be bc he thinks that the person he really cherish and love may be in love whith someone eleses( when he think that Melissa and Yuri are "lovers")
and about this I think that at least once in life everyone can see themselves in this situation, being not reciprocated and suffering for love, being sad and even depressed, but there comes one, to me, really remarkable trait of Nine he respect Melissa being in love with someone else, he doesnt act like the "shoujo anime boys" that take their love interest and declares toward the rival that "FL it's mInE", he doesn't treat Melissa as an object, and respect her, and by being selfless, he decide to back up his own feelings and not impose them.
