Two people remain missing after a devastating forest fire hit central Colorado. One of the missing was a 91-year-old woman whose family was trapped in fire, local media said.
The fire devastated several cities, destroyed hundreds of houses and forced thousands of people to flee. Boulder County Sheriff Joe Pelle had said it was unlikely that any of the missing would be found alive, but now one person had been found safe and sound.
The wildfire burned 6,000 acres in Boulder County, destroying at least 1,000 homes and businesses, began in unusually dry conditions, and was brought under control in part due to snowfall.
More than 10 inches (25cm) of snow have fallen on the boulder area and is now hindering the search for the missing.
