Hildon's editorial looked, if not at an actual Amiga, at "an edited video of the official launch held at Lincoln Center in New York. Commodore's spending curbs were but a myth at this show." He was quite impressed with the Amiga's audiovisual capabilities and the demonstration of a IBM PC emulator, and hoped "the calibre of this machine will help Commodore regain the healthy dealer relationship they'll need to attain the success the Amiga deserves."
