The inhabitants of Quiet-Exodus IV are assisted by the Organon: physical terminals and embodied extensions of the ark’s artificial intelligence system.

Each Organon emerges from an amorphous matrix, a dense modeling paste made of concentrated nanomachines, capable of reshaping both its physical form and its integrated electronic functions.

At the core of every Organon lies the Omphalos, a microchip that orders the paste and links each unit to the ark’s global AI network.

From birth, every inhabitant is entitled to an Omphalos and a supply of this special matrix, from which their personal Organon is molded.

Its shape is freely chosen and may change over time, while a custom personality is programmed to foster total human–machine symbiosis.

Through an advanced LLM-based system, the Organon manifests distinct and complex personalities in every interaction.

Boundslaves | Notes #06 The Ponds is a symbolic and monumental area within the generational ark, located in the Central Ring. A system of ponds and gardens creates a multi-dimensional narrative space.

Images and videos from the Homeworld shimmer beneath the water’s surface (Past). At eye level, magnetically levitating LED stelae display the values of the Quiet-Exodus project (Present). Above, a hologram of the destination world, Pothmos, hovers overhead (Future). Designed to induce calm and well-being, The Ponds functions as a shared space for contemplation and recreation, where inhabitants of the Rings reconnect with the mission’s enduring purpose across generations.

Society within the five rings is founded upon the freedom of its inhabitants. Self-determination, ambition, vanity, competition: the multiplicity of human desires and aspirations, and the struggle to fulfill them, fuel both social cohesion and prosperity.

Boundslaves | Notes #03 The five main rings of Quiet-Exodus form a vast continuous city, fragmented by wide green belts of forests, parks, and farmland.

Urban, industrial, and manufacturing zones coexist, and everywhere are always present gardens and vegetation. 

Day-night cycles, seasons, and climate are fully regulated.

An additional network of smaller rings supports hyper-intensive agriculture, sustaining the population.
