HELLO FRIEND. I just made a little post over on @queeroftherodeo -- more is coming. Life is hard. A lot of days, I’m just barely getting by. But believe me, there’s a lot half-done. It’s coming. And it’s worth it (I hope!)

Masc4Mask is the wildest thing I’ve ever written. I’m breaking all my rules. I’m writing it out of order, I’m writing it messy and fixing it in edit, I’m sticking to the outline in my head but expanding it, I’m letting new information drive the story in new directions, and I have so. much. written that I haven’t released!

That’s not how I usually write at all, but with this fic I just can’t stop writing it. It’s just so fun because there’s nothing else out there and nothing to base it on except that one video (and dozens of Instagram likes and last night’s concert...) and, idk. It just feels like exploration because there are zero expectations.

And at the end of the day I’m writing it for myself and like now maybe 7 other people, and I just really don’t care who else wants to read it. I feel free.

So, yeah, I highly recommend finding yourself a niche rare-pair and going absolutely fucking mental on it. This is single-handedly saving my sanity during this pandemic.
