Why i live for Bow’s Bromance with his girls
Okay, guys, so. I’d like a minute to talk to you about why i personally think the show should never illustrate Bow, Glimmer, and Adora’s bond as more than platonic.
Thinking back to, literally every show i’ve ever watched, i honestly cannot think of more than one or two sets of characters in which there’s just a platonic bond between two characters of opposite genders, without flirting, past romance, people joking about how they’re dating each other, if they like each other, etc, or any of that bs.
Bow being able to just be so incredibly close to Glimmer for their entire shared childhood, is just so, so good. I could never in a million years ship them.
Fuck not having enough representation in Media, it’s the real world that thinks shit like that too, that you cannot possibly just be friendly to someone of the opposite gender without liking each other.
Bow just being able to be so close to so many girls is just, great. And with no one, not even parental figures, acting like he *most* like one of them, or so on? So good. So needed. So valid. I love it.
