Ever thought about wearing a bowtie during work?

I assume this is in response to my recent troubles with the difference engine. I actually try now to take off my tie, or at least tuck it away properly in my waistcoat if I have to go near it, but this was a spur-of-the-moment repair, and I wasn’t thinking. . .a bow tie might actually be a good idea though. Certainly less likely to get caught on things. . .
