He stares at the text, unsure if he should be concerned or not.

Pushes him off and looks in a mirror. Proceeds to blush a lot.

It was a stupid move. A stupid, emotionally driven, impulse that had Wash just in the right place for Felix to land a lethal hit on him instead of Tucker. He practically painted a red target on his chest and called Felix out even though the mercenary’s intent was to finally kill Tucker just like he set out to do a long time ago. Wash was then left to practically bleed out through his armor while Carolina was forced to abandon her objective just to fight the asshole off because Tucker was too, utterly, shocked to even move at first.
Now he was on his knees with a dying ex-freelancer on his lap, and nothing could come out other than, “You fucking idiot!”
And what did Wash have to say after all of this? After pulling a stupid Hollywood stunt and getting himself mortally injured?
