Bowery Lane Covered Bridge off in the Distance by Mark Stevens Via Flickr: I found this point not far from the bridge behind some wild grass. I kept the focus on a few nearby ones, leaving the bridge and nearby trees out of focus. I later decided to darken the background as I felt it added to the feel of the bridge being off in the distance.

Wild Grass, Trees and a Covered Bridge by Mark Stevens Via Flickr: Here I got behind some nearby brush taking this image of the Bowery Lane covered bridge. I wanted to add to the feel of a location not often traveled. Using the brush and a good angle, I was able to hide the road, leaving only the wooden portion to add to that image.

Yellow Rabbitbrush by Mark Stevens Via Flickr: A covered bridge stop just north of Bend OR. I was drawn to this field with the Yellow Rabbitbrush. I got up close and waited for the wind to die down to capture this close up image. I decided not to fix the yellow of the white balance. I felt that color added to the feel of sitting here, with the sun above, and lazily taking in the day.
