Noor, dressed to the nines - as per usual - had found herself out at an expensive nightclub with some friends, none of them caring even remotely about their class schedule or homework or whatever responsibilities they may have had that night. The far more important responsibilities were drinking - which was exactly what Noor was trying to indulge in, teetering on her high heels near the bar, so she could order another drink. Or, better yet, get someone to order it for her. As she glanced around at the options near her, her eyes settled onto a vaguely familiar face, her expression turning into a bit of a sneer before she had even processed who it was. Her eyes met Bowie’s, as her one eyebrow arched up. They had only met a few times, Noor having learned his girlfriend (ex-girlfriend? She honestly wasn’t sure, considering how little the story had interested her) was in the same circle as some of the people at Luxor she had become friends with, including the people that she was there with that night. But Bowie had failed to impress her, the opinion she held only sinking lower with each additional meeting. “I’m surprised they let you in,” Noor said, her voice just loud enough over the pounding music of the club that he’d have to lean in to hear her.
